Welcome to The City of Margate

Thank you for visiting the official municipal website for the City of Margate, Florida. Our city encompasses approximately 9.2 square miles and is located roughly 15 miles north west of Fort Lauderdale. We are home to nearly 105 acres of parks and offer a City-wide bus transportation system. We celebrated our fiftieth anniversary in 2005 and see much success and growth in our future with the efforts of our Community Redevelopment Agency.
