CITY OF MARGATE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCE 2018 ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM$2,500 Scholarship Available for Two Margate Residents
The City of Margate, in partnership with Waste Management, presents the 7th Annual Margate Academic Scholarship Program for students who live within the City limits. This scholarship honors one male and one female student for their academic excellence and helps them achieve their dreams of attending college with less financial burden.Started in 2012, the Margate Academic Scholarship Program was created to foster the educational opportunities for Margate students and encourage them to pursue paths that support government and civic endeavors. Graduating high school or college-enrolled students who are interested in applying for this one-time $2,500 scholarship, should download, complete and submit the scholarship application no later than Thursday, May 24th at 6 p.m. to the Margate Parks and Recreation Department at 6199 NW 10th Street.
