City of Margate's Project to Improve Royal Palm Blvd. - updated May 21st, 2009

The Purchasing Division Office at 5790 Margate Boulevard, Margate, Florida 33063 has advertised for the above project and will be receiving bids for the one mile improvements until 11:00 A.M., June 24, 2009.

The project involves realignment of the roadway, construction of east and west bound left turn lanes, access management modifications, renovation of an existing bridge and medians, construction of pedestrian bridges, base enhancements, milling and resurfacing, providing new asphalt areas, pavement markings, swale, drainage and lighting improvements.

Once the contract is awarded it is anticipated that the work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after the commencement date which shall be stated in the City issued Notice to Proceed.
