Margate Basketball League
Click here for the League activities schedule(pdf)MARGATE - Join the Margate Basketball League; open to residents and non-residents from 6 through 16 years old. Practices will start in December while games begin in January. Games are normally scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Registration will be held the first week of November at Firefighters Park, 2500 Rock Island Road in Margate. Registration is in-person only so the child can be measured for a uniform.
A parent or guardian must accompany the child to sign a required code of ethics form. Please also bring the childs birth certificate (if first time in this league) and Margate residents must bring two forms of proof of residency (drivers license, utility bill, mortgage bill, etc.). You can also help by bringing can food to donate to those in need in our surrounding community. No late registration will be taken this year.

Basketball Coaches Needed for Margate Basketball League
The Margate Parks & Recreation Department is seeking volunteer coaches and assistant coaches for its Margate Basketball League. The league is for resident and non-resident children from 6 to 16 years old. There are four age divisions.
Individuals who are interested in coaching must be available for practices in December. Games will be from 6 to 9 p.m. starting at end of January at Firefighters Park, 2500 Rock Island Road in Margate. No experience is necessary (some training is provided), but you must be 21 years old or older and must pass a background check.
