The Purchasing Division is responsible for the procurement functions of the City
of Margate as well as the disposition of surplus City owned property.
The City of Margate is located in northern Broward County. The City provides
multiple services to its citizens (55,000+) including Fire/Rescue, Police, Parks
& Recreation, Water and Wastewater Utilities, etc. Margate is also the home of
the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center. Purchasing is centralized in the City
with procurement done through the Purchasing Division including the formal
procurement for the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) and all
Grants.
