Margate/Coconut Creek Fire Department
Our organization is a career department comprised of 112 Florida State Certified Firefighter /Paramedics and EMTs providing fire suppression, a single tier ALS emergency medical service, and a full service fire prevention bureau.
Our nationally recognized department has achieved an Insurance Service Organization rating of "3" and operates out of four firehouses providing a daily complement of five advanced life support transport units, three fire engines, and a 75' ladder truck. We provide service to both the Cities of Margate and Coconut Creek with a combined population of over 90,000.
