Multi-Family Residential Customers
Rental apartment communities and owner-occupied multi-family communities that have opted to join the City's exclusive franchise are provided garbage, recycling, and monthly bulk collection services through the City's exclusive franchise. To establish, change, or discontinue collection services, multi-family residential customers should contact Waste Management directly at (954) 974-7500. Multi-family residential customers are to provide their residents with access to recycling. A minimum capacity of one 95-gallon recycling cart collected weekly shall be provided for every eight (8) units in the community. Equivalent dumpster capacity and/or more frequent collections may be used to provide the minimum capacity. Additionally, residents of multi-family residential customer communities are now eligible to participate in the Recyclebank recycling rewards program. Once registered, residents earn points for recycling and can redeem those points for gift cards, movie tickets, magazines, coupons, etc. from local and national businesses. Visit www.recyclebank.com/wm to register and begin earning points today.
As required by City code (Sec. 19-5), all buildings, structures, and lands within the City shall subscribe to garbage collection services through the City's exclusive franchise. To establish, change, or discontinue garbage collection services, commercial customers should contact Waste Management directly at (954) 974-7500.

Any recyclable material container containing ten percent (10%) or more, by weight or volume, of non-recyclable materials shall be considered garbage and be subject to collection by the City's franchised waste hauler for a fee.
Any business that wishes to haul recoverable material from commercial locations within the City must submit their annual registration by September 30 every year.
