The City of Margate Information Technology Department consists of a dedicated team of professionals that support over 400 end users and 20 network servers. We assist seventeen other departments with technology needs. Our application support includes:
- Water Billing
- Building Permits
- Business Licenses
- Code Compliance
- Land/ Parcel Management
- Police and Fire Records Management Systems
- Microsoft Office
Our operating budget for fiscal year 2013-2014 is $753,919.00 which includes capital projects for replacing our main application mid-range servers and upgrading our existing video capture servers. We also budgeted for and implemented a computer replacement program over the past two years to replace aging hardware and operating software.
