There are multiple ways to pay your water/waste water account.
Payments can be made on the City's website using Visa, MasterCard or a debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo on it. There are no fees to pay on the City's website and the payment posts to your account immediately.

If your service is interrupted for non-payment, you need to contact customer service at (954) 972-6454 to have service restored during regular business hours or (954) 972-0828 nights and weekends.
Enroll in Bank Draft (automatic payments)
By enrolling in bank drafting, your payments will automatically be withdrawn from your checking account on the due date of the bills. To register, complete the Bank Draft Application and return the form with a voided check. FAQs are included on the application.
Pay In Person
Pay at any Amscot location, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
· Just bring your bill or bill stub with you to any Amscot.
· Amscot will charge a non-refundable $2.00 for each transaction. This fee is remitted entirely to Amscot – not the City of Margate.
· Cash Payments Only!
· Payments post by the next business day.

City Hall is open between the hours of 8am and 5:45pm Monday through Thursday (excluding Holidays). If your service has been interrupted due to non-payment, payment needs to be received by 5:30 to ensure same day restoration of service.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, money order.
Pay in Night Drop Box
For your convenience the City has a night drop box in the parking lot to drop your payment in during non-business hours. Payments are picked up at 7:45am and lprn. (Payments received prior to 7:45am are processed the same day).
To ensure proper credit to your account, please include payment stub or account number on payment. Do Not place cash in the night deposit box.
Online Payment with your financial institution
Most financial institutions have an option to pay your bills online. Please be aware while most payments between your bank and the City are received with 2-3 business days electronically, some financial institutions still process mail payments that can take anywhere from 5-10 business days to be received.
The City does not accept phone payments at this time.
