The Fire Chief is the most senior administrator and holds the responsibility for providing executive leadership and management for City Margate Fire and Rescue. Developing a departmental vision, articulating that vision to management and staff and following it through to implementation are critical elements for this position. Supportive functions are provided by the Fire Chief's Administrative Assistants.
Fire Rescue Office Specialist II Susan Coyle provides direct support to Chief Edwards and Staff to achieve departmental goals. Her responsibilities include payroll, records management, and maintaining monthly reports. She also gives support the Fire Prevention Bureau. Susan has been with the department since 1993 and currently has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.
Office Specialist Debbie Dvora provides direct support to Chief Edwards and staff officers to achieve departmental goals. Her responsibilities include purchase orders, departmental account management, correspondence, maintaining personnel files, and customer service to the public. Debbie has been working for the department since 2001 and holds a Bachelor's degree.
