The City of Margate now has a special mobile website for those residents, businesses, and bus patrons wanting fast information via their IPHONE, BLACKBERRY, or other PDA internet device. Contractors and residents will now have the information at their finger tips as well as their home computers.



This site is tailored to allow the user to pay their water bill with a credit card exactly as allowed now on your PC via the internet. Simply select “Pay your water bill” and you will be directed to the screen for inputting your account number, pin, and credit card information. Once you have completed this section, select your back arrow assigned on your cell phone to return to the Home page to access more City information.

We will also display your Building Permit Status showing your pass/fail inspections and the status of each of your permits. Select “Building Permit Status” to change to the screen for inputting the Building Permit Application and/or Master Account login for this information.

Contact information for our most called departments will be displayed and the telephone number will be dialed automatically with just a touch or highlighted depending on the phone used. Once finished with this screen, select the City’s Logo to return to the home page or use your back arrow assigned on your cell phone.



Bus Schedules, Routes, and Transit information telephone numbers will now be available via this web site. Selecting “Times in TEXT” on the Transit page will display all bus pickup times for whichever route you will be traveling on. If your phone allows PDF viewing, we will show all routes using graphics along with all information pertaining to the selection.
Current Weather for Margate and South Florida will be displayed on your cell wherever you are in the state, country, or internationally. Weather statistics from the City’s own weather station at Fire Station 98 will show full day temperatures, rainfall, air pressure, wind speed, direction, heat index, and prior day statistics. Full updated radar for the state of Florida is provided via the National Weather Service every 5-10 minutes. You may now follow storms and adverse weather conditions affecting the City of Margate via our site 24 hours a day.



Our next application displays all City Commission, CRA, DRC, and other Board Meeting schedules via this mobile site. Simply select the meeting and we will show the agenda with resolutions and any backup pertaining to each item. (Backup retrieval speed will vary depending on your internet cell phone provider.) This is a great inquiry for those that are on the go and cannot access an internet PC to retrieve the meeting information. We will also display cancelled meetings the minute we are notified of such.
