Police Explorers
Police Explorers is a program affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America and local police departments where young people between the ages of 14 and 21 are able to interact with Police Officers, learning about their responsibilities and building a better understanding of the law enforcement community. Through involvement, the Explorer program establishes an awareness of the complexities of police service and provides an insight to those who may be interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. The Post is headed by a police officer or a reliable citizen with law enforcement background.
