Electronics
Items Accepted: computers, monitors, printers, televisions, cell phones, chargers, DVD or VCR players, rechargeable batteries, keyboards, copiers, scanners, mice, and fax machines
Do not bring stereos, speakers, alkaline batteries, microwaves, or small appliances.
Household Hazardous Waste
Items Accepted: aerosol products, cleaning supplies, ammunition, auto & boat fluids, auto & boat batteries, lighter fluid, compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), fluorescent light tubes, fire extinguishers, gasoline, kerosene, paint, lawn chemicals, pool chemicals, propane tanks, solvents, and tires
Do not bring business generated waste, explosives, or biohazardous waste. Containers may not exceed 5-gallons and total quantity may not exceed 25-gallons per visit.
Hours: Friday and Saturday from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Be sure to bring proof of Broward County residency.

Bring your plastic bags to the grocery store to recycle them. Better yet, bring your own reusable bags with you to the store to avoid using plastic bags.
Unwanted Goods
Donate your unwanted furniture, clothing, books, and more to give them a second life. Numerous organizations in the area take donations of unwanted goods to help those in need. Check the Broward County website for a list of organizations throughout the county.
