Movies in the Park - Toy Story 4

Movies in the Park on Jan. 25th 

The City's Movies in the Parks series continues on Saturday, January 25th with Toy Story 4. The movie will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

In Toy Story 4, major complications ensue when Bonnie turns a spork into a toy, but he sees himself as an eating utensil instead. Woody, Buzz and co. have to set out into the world to find him, reunite with Bonnie, and resolve his existential crisis.

The final movie of this year's Movies in the Park series is as follows:

February 15: The Princess and the Frog

Movies in the Park features free outdoor movie screenings for the entire family. The movies are rated PG. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

Sounds at Sundown on February 1

Sounds at Sundown on Feb. 1st

Mark your calendar! The Sounds at Sundown concert series will take place on Saturday, February 1st from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and 441. The band, Style, will take the stage from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. playing your favorite rock music.

In addition to live music, Sounds at Sundown features local artists and crafters and a variety of food trucks. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to dance and sing the night away.  For more information, visit margatefl.com.

2020 Census

Everyone Counts in Margate

Getting an accurate Census count is important to the City of Margate, and City officials are encouraging everyone to complete the Census form once they receive it in March. 

The Census count is mandated by the Constitution and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, a nonpartisan government agency. 

Households will receive a short questionnaire to complete online, over the phone, or by mail. Participation in the census is required by law - no matter your legal status. By law, personally identifiable census information cannot be shared with any other government agency or the public for 72 years after it was collected.
