Spring Garage Sale - March 17th

Join us for the largest garage sale in the City of Margate. The Spring Garage Sale will take place Saturday, March 17th from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Oriole Park, located at 7055 NW 1st Street. Come out for the best bargains in town! For more information go to margatefl.com.

Egg Hunt

Springtime Egg Hunt - March 24th

Spring is in the air, and for the City of Margate, that means the annual Springtime Egg Hunt is near. Thousands of eggs are being filled with fun prizes or delicious candy for children to enjoy.

On Saturday, March 24th, children eight years old and younger are invited to the City of Margate’s Springtime Egg Hunt. The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road. Arrive early!

Nearly 9,000 brightly colored plastic eggs - each containing a treat will be scattered on three baseball fields. Children will be separated by age group for the egg hunt as follows:
Field #1: Ages 2 & Under 
Field #2: Ages 3-5
Field #3: Ages 6-8

Some eggs will also contain a ticket redeemable for a special prize. Peter Rabbit will make a special guest appearance for family photographs.  Please remember to bring your baskets and a camera.

This event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available.For additional information, go to margatefl.com.
Calypso Cove

Calypso Cove Open 

Hey Spring Breakers! The City of Margate’s Calypso Cove Aquatic Facility, located at 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard, is now open weekends and will be open daily during Spring Break Week - just in time for you to splash around and cool off with your friends and family. 

From now through June 3rd, Calypso Cove will open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

During Spring Break Week, March 26th - March 30th, the water park will open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For just $4 per person, residents four years old and over can spend an entire day swimming, sliding and splashing around at the City’s water park.
