2018 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday

Disaster Preparedness Tax Holiday

With our first named storm behind us, Alberto, it sort of feels like we’re already in Hurricane Season, but the season officially starts this Friday, June 1st. Margate residents, the time to prepare for a hurricane is now. Don’t wait for a storm to threaten to stock up on the necessary supplies.

Here’s a great opportunity to stock up on qualifying disaster preparedness supplies without having to pay a sales tax. The 2018 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will take place from June 1st through June 7th. For more information, visit floridarevenue.com/disasterprep.
