Happy 4th of July

City Hall Closed July 4th 

In honor of Independence Day, City Hall and all administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th.

Please join us for our 4th of July festivities:

4th of July Parade 
9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Margate Boulevard eastbound from 76th Avenue to Margate City Hall. Immediately following the parade, the MCRA will provide post-parade refreshments and bounce houses at City Hall.

Calypso Cove Pool Party
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department will host a 4th of July pool party featuring a steel drum band at Calypso Cove, located at 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard. Admission to Calypso Cove is $4 for Margate residents and $7 for non-residents.

4th of July Extravaganza 
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The City’s 4th of July Extravaganza begins at 5:00 p.m. with food, bounce houses, and family-friendly activities at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

Road closures
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Eastbound lanes of Margate Boulevard from 76th Avenue to Margate City Hall
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.: Margate Boulevard, from the Clock Tower to State Road 7
7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: State Road 7, from Atlantic Boulevard to Coconut Creek Parkway
