Sounds at Sundown This Saturday

The 21st Annual Sounds at Sundown concert series continues this Saturday, November 3rd with the band, Orange Sunshine, playing hits from the 60s and 70s.

The free concert series takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and 441. Enjoy live music and food trucks serving up delicious snacks, meals and desserts. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and plan to spend the evening dancing and singing under the stars.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Be sure to cast your ballot, and let your voice be heard.

Early voting continues all across Broward County. From now until Sunday, November 4th, 22 early voting locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find a location near you, please visit the Broward County Supervisor of Elections website.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th. City Commission Seat #3 and Seat #5 will be on the ballot along with four ballot questions for the City of Margate. On Election day, you must vote at your assigned polling location. To know your polling location, visit browardsoe.org and click on "Where Do I Vote?" You will be directed to the Precinct Finder to enter your information.

Veterans Day Ceremony November 11th

Veterans Day Ceremony - Nov. 11th

To honor our heroes, the City of Margate will host its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Sunday, November 11th beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 7044 N.W. 1st Street.

Join us as we honor all of our military veterans who have served in all United States military branches - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps. Coast Guard. This annual ceremony honors our veterans for their dedicated and loyal service to our country. We salute them for the sacrifices they have made for our nation's freedom.
