Sounds at Sundown is set for Saturday, December 1st from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. Join us as we dance the night away with the 30 Hertz Band, playing rock, pop, reggae, and more.

Vendors Needed for Winter Festival

Calling all food and craft vendors! The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department is accepting vendor applications for the Annual Winter Festival, which will take place on Friday, December 14th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. along Margate Boulevard from State Road 7 to Northwest 58th Avenue (the clock tower).

As one of the City's largest events, the Winter Festival draws a crowd of thousands from the tri-county area.

The event will once again feature a one-of-a-kind 3D holiday Paintscaping light show. This amazing show will transform the walls of City Hall into a magical winter wonderland extravaganza that will surely take your breath away.

Movies in the Park on Dec. 1st

Mark your calendar for Movies in the Park featuring "Paddington 2" on Saturday, December 1st. The free, family-friendly movie screening begins at 6 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

Paddington 2 continues the story of the popular little bear in his trademark blue coat and red hat. Paddington is happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But, when the book is stolen, it's up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.

Groove and Green on November 25th

Groove and Green This Sunday, Nov. 25th 

Groove and Green is back this Sunday, November 25th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. Stop by for a farmer's market, food trucks, arts and craft vendors, live music and brunch.

Groove and Green is a bi-monthly, family-friendly event series that offers the best deals around. Shop small and local for delicious produce, unfiltered honey, freshly baked bread and so much more. Have brunch beneath a large lounge canopy or picnic style on the lawn. Guests can also enjoy sparkling mimosas, fresh juice, and other beverages!
