2018 Winter Festival on December 14th

Winter Festival is This Friday, December 14th

The City of Margate’s annual spectacular Winter Festival, featuring an amazing Paintscaping light show, will take place on Friday, December 14th from 6 to 10 p.m. at Margate Boulevard from State Road 7 to Northwest 58th Avenue (the Clock Tower).

The one-of-a-kind, 8-minute 3D holiday light show will transform the walls of City Hall into a magical winter wonderland with our now signature, 3D Paintscaping show.

In partnership with the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the Winter Festival also features real “Florida Style” snow (for ages 11 and under), rides for the children, arts and crafts activities, a craft fair, food vendors, and pictures with Santa (bring your own camera and share your photos with #OurMargate).

Please be advised of the following traffic/road closure information:

  • Road closures on Margate Boulevard between the traffic circle (NW 58 Avenue) and East River Drive for Friday, December 14th beginning at 2 p.m.
  • At Margate Boulevard and East River Drive, there will be event parking signs, directing traffic south to Park Drive and north to Seton Drive.
  • Traffic will be able to cross at the median break to proceed into the ACE Hardware Plaza or make the U-turn back to West River Drive.
  • The westbound lanes of Margate Boulevard will be divided with cones, allowing 2-way traffic to and from the Plaza.
