Be in the 4th of July Parade

Be a part of the City of Margate's 4th of July parade!

Beginning at 9 a.m., a sea of red, white and blue will parade down Margate Boulevard eastbound from 76th Avenue to State Road 7, and we want you to be a part of it. Download the application now!

Show off your 4th of July spirit, and you could be a winner. Awards will be given to a private business, a non-profit organization, and a Margate family. Immediately following the parade, the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency will provide post-parade refreshments and bounce houses.

Hosted by the City of Margate and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA), the 4th of July Extravaganza is an all-day, family-friendly event that includes a parade, pool party, concert, and a magnificent fireworks show.

CRA wraps utility boxes

CRA Wraps Utility Boxes

As part of the public art program, the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency has completed two public art installations. Two utility boxes - (1) Copans and Banks Road, and (2) Palm Lakes Plaza on Atlantic - have been covered with beautiful artwork.

Margate is seeking to expand its public art, and this utility box project is one opportunity that will beautify the City using already existing canvases that are primed for artwork. Additional utility boxes will be covered soon.
