Sounds at Sundown on Oct. 5th

Sounds at Sundown will take place this Saturday, October 5th with The Wolfepak Band, one of South Florida's most popular bands playing Grammy and Hall of Fame hits in rock, jazz, funk, and blues. 

Sounds at Sundown takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. Join us for live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities and more.

Fall Festival on October 26th

Calling all Vendors! Fall Festival is Oct. 26th

The City of Margate’s popular Fall Festival is back and the Parks and Recreation Department is ready to host countless families, friends, and neighbors for an evening of seasonal fun! 

The Annual Fall Festival is set for Saturday, October 26th from 6-11 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

The Fall Festival is a “FREE” family-oriented event with plenty of activities for everyone. There will be a concert featuring The Rodeo Clowns Band, a Haunted House created by the Margate Police and Fire Explorers, line dancing, pony rides, petting zoo, costume contests for all ages, pumpkin carving contests (bring your own, already-carved pumpkin), scarecrow building contest, interactive programs for young children, craft vendors, and food vendors. 

Prizes awarded to all winners for each contest. 

Calling all vendors! Preregistration is required for all food vendors and craft vendors. To register, please download the vendor application form at margatefl.com or contact the City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department by calling (954) 972-6458.

Movies in the Park kicks off October 12th

Movies In the Park Kicks off Oct. 12th

The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department kicks off the 2019-2020 Movies in the Park series on Saturday, October 12th with the blockbuster movie, Aladdin (Rated PG). The movie will begin at 7 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

Movies in the Park features free outdoor movie screenings. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase.
