Throughout the year, the Margate Police Department hosts and participates in a variety of events that foster connection, raise public safety awareness, and bring neighbors and law enforcement together. These family-friendly gatherings are open to all and designed to strengthen the partnership with the community we proudly serve.

Coffee with a Hero

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Location: 3000 N State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063 (Walgreens)

Safely dispose of unused medications at our no-questions-asked collection event in partnership with the DEA. Items not eligible for this disposal includes sharps, needles, or compressed air medications.

2025 Trunk or Treat

Bring the family for a spook-tacular night of trick-or-treating from creatively decorated car trunks with the Margate Police! Kids can show off their costumes, collect candy, and enjoy safe Halloween fun. Enjoy festive music, bounce houses, and activities for the whole family!
