The competition is on!
Margate Senior Games has been a community fixture since 1979 and even attracts residents from neighboring cities.
The events are for seniors who are at least 60 years young.
Events run March 2 through March 6 and include horseshoes, billiards, shuffleboard, Rummikub, dominoes, golf putting, basketball free-throw shooting, and Wii bowling. Teams compete in pétanque, bocce, pickleball, and mixed doubles tennis.
Medals will be awarded to the 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place winners at the Awards Ceremony on March 9.
