The Margate Police Department would like to encourage you to use some important safely tools designed to help protect Margate’s children, youth as well as all citizens.
First, conduct an offender/neighborhood search at www.flsexoffender.net. This search will make you aware of where registered offenders and predators currently reside in the community.
Secondly, we encourage you to sign up for the Florida Offender Alert System. This free service allows you to subscribe for e-mail alerts notifying you each time a sexual offender or predator moves within a certain radius of the address or addresses selected. You can sign up to monitor your home, children’s schools and daycare centers, community centers and anywhere else you or your family may spend time.
Signing up is quick and easy! Just visit site listed above and subscribe for this free service, as well as learn of other safety tips to discuss with your kids.
