Staying Compliant
If a rental property does not pass inspection, that fact does not relieve the owner's obligation to register the unit(s).
You must complete the renewal process at least 30 days prior to the due date.
A copy of a pamphlet containing guidelines for rental property provided by the City must be provided to every tenant.
A copy of the Certificate of Inspection must be provided to all tenants and occupants. This requirement may be resolved by posting the certificate in a conspicuous location within the unit.
