Residential Rental Registration Program

Dear Residents and Landlords:

The City of Margate is pleased to announce the adoption of a Rental Property Registration Program.

The purpose of this program is to ensure all properties within the boundaries of the City of Margate are held to an equal standard for property maintenance and code enforcement requirements. The program keeps our community resources focused on priorities most important to you while adding efficiency to what could be a very labor-intensive process. It also offers our Police and Fire Departments quick and easy access to information needed during an emergency.

The City of Margate has committed to a fee structure intended to cover the administrative cost of running the program. Our responsibility is to all our residents, whether you are owner-occupants, tenants, or rental property owners. Our City is committed to ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of all.
