Major Michael Druzbik

Major Druzbik has been a Law Enforcement Officer for the Margate Police Department since 2005.

 He attained his Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University. During Major Druzbik's tenure with the department, he has held the positions of Patrol Officer, Special Operations Detective and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Southeast Regional Task Force Officer (TFO).

 He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2013 and later assigned as the Special Operations Unit Supervisor in 2015. Major Druzbik was later assigned as the Internal Affairs Supervisor in 2018. He also became one of the Police Department’s Public Information Officers (PIO) in 2019. Major Druzbik was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2020, where he served as a Road Patrol Platoon Commander. Major Druzbik became the Field Force Team Commander in 2020 and the K-9 Unit Supervisor in 2021.

 He was later assigned as the Commander to the Administrative Services Unit in 2023. While assigned to the Administrative Services Unit, Major Druzbik also became the agency’s Accreditation Manager. He was promoted to the rank of Major in 2024.

 Major Druzbik is currently the Commander of the Field Services Bureau which oversees Road Patrol, K-9 Unit, Training Unit, Department Armory and Communications.
