Margate Soccer
General Information
The City of Margate Youth Soccer League is a developmental, recreational program open to residents, and non-residents ages 3 to 14 years-old (age cut-off date determined by Spring or Fall season). Volunteer Coaches will work with your child to improve individual skills in running, throwing, hitting and team play. Participants will develop friendships, character, respect, and life lessons beyond the game all while achieving their desired soccer goals.
ALL participants must attend a one-day mandatory skills evaluation. Evaluation day should take about 60-90 minutes where we put the kids through different skills stations and drills. This process will enable us to bring better balance to the teams.
Over the course of the season, participants will play regular season games, and conclude with a playoff tournament.
The league is broken up into age divisions:
6U (age 3-5 years old)
9U (age 6-8 years old)
12u (age 9-11 years old)
15u (age 12-14 years old)
