Community Service Aides are civilian, non-sworn employees who are under the supervision of the Traffic Unit Supervisor.  Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to calls of a non-violent nature
• Complete all necessary department reports for delayed crimes
•  Supplement staffing for the Police Information Area window
• Issue parking tickets
• Issue traffic citations in conjunction with traffic crash investigation
• Attend court by subpoena and testify in court
• Performs related work as required
