Bulk / Yard Waste
Curbside Collection Schedule
View Solid Waste and Recycling Map to determine your collection day.
- Bulk and yard waste are collected once per week on your garbage collection day opposite to your recycling day. For example, if your garbage collections days are Monday and Thursday, and your recycling collection day is Monday, then your bulk and yard waste collection day will be Thursday.
Bulk / Yard Waste Guidelines
- Bulk and yard waste items must be placed immediately behind the curb, or within the swale area if there is no curb, by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
- Place all items at least 3 feet away from other objects (i.e. mailbox, car, tree, trash and recycle carts, fences, etc.).
- DO NOT place bulk items under any low hanging branches, or under any utility wires.
- Yard waste must be placed in clear plastic bags (e.g. grass clippings, leaves, and shrub and tree trimmings), or loose at the curb (e.g. tree limbs and palm fronds) with no non-yard-waste debris comingled in the bag. No personal containers are allowed.
- DO NOT place any items other than yard waste inside bags for bulk pick up. Items, other than yard waste, placed inside bags are considered garbage and should be placed inside your green garbage cart for collection.
- Per City Code, DO NOT place your bulk/yard waste items out more than three days before your scheduled collection day.
- Bulk and yard waste piles are limited to three (3) cubic yards (roughly 3 standard size washing machines stacked side by side):
Bulk waste consists of large household items that cannot be placed in a garbage cart because of its size, shape, or weight. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Palm Fronds
- Shrub and tree trimmings
- Tree branches
Small yard waste (e.g. grass clippings, leaves, and shrub and tree trimmings) must be placed in clear plastic garbage bags.
