Flood Information & Maps
The Department of Environmental and Engineering Services coordinates the City’s participation in the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS). This voluntary incentive program encourages community floodplain management activities that exceed the minimum NFIP requirements and results in discounted flood insurance rates for all property owners within the City of Margate.
Margate Cares ALERTS is an emergency mass notification system. This system is utilized to send emergency alerts for severe weather conditions. Residents can also elect to be notified of city events, such as recreational activities. Sign up here or call (954) 972-7111.
